THE SCOTTSBLUFF SUMMER BAND PROGRAM WILL AGAIN BE OFFERED THIS SUMMER. IT PRESENTS A WONDERFUL OPPORTUNITY FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE INTERESTED IN INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC TO TAKE SOME CONCENTRATED WORK IN THEIR FIELD OF INTEREST.

SCHEDULE OF CLASSES:

8:00 a.m. New Beginning Percussion

8:30 a.m. New Beginning Trumpets

9:00 a.m. New Beginning Trombones and Baritones

9:30 a.m. New Beginning Flutes

10:00 a.m. New Beginning Clarinets

10:30 a.m. New Beginning Saxophones

11:00 a.m. 6th Grade Percussion

11:30 a.m. 6th Grade Trumpets

12:30 p.m. 6th Grade Trombones and Baritones

1:00 p.m. 6th Grade Flutes

1:30 p.m. 6th Grade Clarinets

2:00 p.m. 6th Grade Saxophones

2:30 p.m. 7th Grade Band

3:00 p.m. 8th Grade Band

WHAT IS IT? : The Scottsbluff Summer Band Program is a planned and supervised instructional program for all children involved with the band program who will be entering the 5th grade through the 8th grade during the 2007-2008 school year who reside in the Scottsbluff School District .

WHEN IS IT? : The Scottsbluff Summer Band Program will begin on Monday, July 23rd and conclude on Friday, August 10th. Each class will meet daily, Monday - Friday.

WHERE IS IT? : Bluffs Middle School (Music Wing). Bus transportation will not be provided for the daily class lessons and rehearsals. Please use the north band room entrance.

WHAT IS THE COST? : $15.00 PER PUPIL.
